First, the not-so-scenic view along Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. today. Welcome to construction season, Alaska.
Most of the rest of these were taken at the pull-over along Glenn Hwy. just before the turn-off to the Musk Ox Farm (see those pix below), or just before, I guess, if you're coming from Tok.
It's a long way down...
There were eleven new babies, according to one of the farm workers. Alas, the mothers kept them in the most distant corner available -- one was only a day or so old! -- but did manage a few okay shots with the zoom lens.
A very small part of the crowd there. Overflow parking and a festive group for the annual Mother's Day Open House at the Musk Ox Farm.
Hmm, not musk ox related, but Jon's truck wasn't there when we got there, but didn't see him, alas.
