Thanksgiving Eve Sunset

Betty, your spruce tree was looking mighty festive this evening.
This one is looking more or less straight out the driveway.

Almost looks like the sky is on fire, doesn't it?

Layering of the sky is common here, but this was a cool, very distinct one.

Taken from the side door, looking sorta SW past Betty's spruce and it's buddy.

Random shots of mountains and sky

Hoarfrost looks lovely decked out in pink, don't you think?

Looking at the mountains, they wanna come out, but were having trouble kicking aside the gauzy covering Mother Nature was supplying.

Making progress!

Taken from one of the parking areas at Idita-Park as some pink, very faint but there, was trying to make inroads.

Foggy Morning Gives Way to Blue Skies and HoarFrost

Although it was clear until around 10 AM, the fog came rolling in and everything took on a gauzy, ghostly appearance.
Looking out my kitchen window after deciding that, you know, it's cold out there. I think I'll try the ol' "Outside My Window" format today.

Seemingly as fast as it rolled in, the fog went poof, leaving me with gorgeous blue skies and lots and lots of hoarfrost.
